I was lucky to be featured in a few publications recently. You might think it’s the kind of thing that would lose its shine after a little while. I guess if you’re someone like Kim Kardashian that’s probably the case though to me it always feels special.

I know sharing this kinda stuff on my blog probably comes across as self-indulgent though please don’t feel I’m trying to brag or show-off. It’s merely my way of keeping a record.
It doesn’t come across as bragging, and if it did, you deserve to show off a bit anyway! Love everything they featured, but I must’ve missed the faux Roman blind the first time you shared it – it’s gorgeous. Congrats on the coverage :)
Thank you Lizzie :)
I’m so glad you linked to these!! I love your diy projects and admire them so much.
Thanks so much Georgianna :)
Celebrating your successes is never self indulgent. You have a fabulous blog and sharing these show your experience and that you are well received. Congratulations and carry on :)
Thanks so much Ruth :)
Kristine after ready your blog and following the fantastic makeovers I feel a sense of pride reading that you are featured in magazine articles! Brag away and well done to you x
Aw, thank you Eliza :)
Kristine
It’s wonderful that you share your success.
Not just because you have every right to share your success but also because it inspires the rest of us to keep Creating.

ps
Just want to prove that you inspire others . . . . .
.
My next-door-neighbour is the 'paint girl' at our local Bunnings, and her project won the Feast & Watson Bunnings competition (she & a colleague repurposed a bed with a chevron pattern), BUT . . .
when I mentioned you, within the context of the competition, her face lit up.
.
She started talking about your hexagon wardrobe and how it has inspired her to paint an old set of drawers with a multi-coloured hexagon pattern, using up numerous tester paint pots that she gets from work. I've seen it and it's cracking.
.
You really DO inspire others with your Creations!!

Oh wow, thank you so much Pia. What a lovely thing to know. I’m so grateful you decided to share that with me :)
I didn’t know about the Feast Watson Bunnings Comp. I would love to see her creations. If you have pics – and if she’s happy to share – please feel free to email me: thepaintedhive@gmail.com.

Never, ever put yourself in sentence with a Kardashian again! You have way too much class! LOVE your work!
Ha, ha. To be honest, I know absolutely nothing about them! I just needed a prolific celeb and figured she pretty much takes the cake at the mo’.
Thanks Julie :)
Hi Kristine,
That is sooo exciting to have your work featured in magazines and is simply a reflection of how much everyone admires your work.
Not to mention the fact that what you do is achievable for we ‘mere mortals’!! Keep up the fantastic work. xx
Ha, ha, trust me Nikki, I’ve got “mere mortal” well and truly covered.
Thank you :)
Congratulations. Ive only recently discovered your blog, and I love browsing through your projects. You are incredibly talented and should never be afraid to toot your own horn. Keep up the great work.
Thanks so much Carolyn :)
Very exciting! Congratulations :-)
Thanks so much Ashlea :)
great job, enjoy seeing the ideas and projects people take on. You have great idea’s and imagination.
Thanks so much Lori :)
Congrats to you!! I know this is old news now but I am way behind in my blog reading so it is new news to me :) And this is your blog to do with what you want. I also use my blog as a way to keep track of the things I do, which are nothing near as exciting as being in a magazine, though if I ever were you betcha I would blog like crazy about it! And you are just as cute as anything leaning up against your re-love project :D
Thanks so much Khristine :)
