How exciting! To be blunt, the only other one that is unique in any way is Ms. Barter’s cafe table and chairs – very cool. I am quite sure you are going to far exceed all other bids (again). ;) I am bummed that I can’t afford to try for it!

It will be lovely to bring in a good amount for the charity, however I doubt the final sale price for my piece will exceed that of some of the others. There are serious designers, with major cred, involved in this campaign. Their work is highly sought-after and they have fantastic reach.

This campaign (now in its fourth year) is run by Feast Watson and all proceeds from the auction sales go directly to Salvos Stores (Salvation Army – http://www.salvosstores.com.au/).
There is a link in the post which provides further information. I didn’t elaborate on these details in the post because I have mentioned it numerous times in my previous posts about the project.

Discovered your blog way back before Charlotte was born when you disappeared. We know now that you were stuck in hospital for months. Just wanted to say that I love your blog. Not everyone lives in a palatial mansion on Sydney Harbor or the northern beaches. Thanks for inspiring people with little houses and not much money. I see that your parquet wardrobe sold for over $1,100 and your beautiful cabinet is currently at $592. You should be so proud. Your projects are within most people’s budgets and your tutorials are great. Can’t wait to see what you do next!

I really appreciate your kind words and support. I’ve actually found this year the trickiest so far in terms of finding the time and energy to blog around caring for the kids. Next year Charlotte will start school (can’t believe it!) and Riley will be at 3 Year Old kinder a few hours a week so I will finally have some alone time to try and get some bloggy stuff done. Hopefully I’ll be able to post more often :)
