The Re-Love Project Auction is Live!

I’m super excited to announce that my Honeycomb Armoire is finally up for grabs!

Honeycomb Parquetry Armoire

Yup, from now up until July 17 anyone can bid for a chance to take this lovingly refurbished one-of-a-kind baby home!

Remember, all proceeds from the sale go directly to charity and bidding begins at just 99 cents! On top of that Feast Watson are offering free national shipping. Yes, people, FREE!

If ever there was a time to snaffle-up that special piece for your home, THIS IS IT!

Please hop on over and place a bid. Not only will you be supporting a great cause and giving yourself the chance to win, you just might save me from looking like a bid-less loser (you will also help ensure all these exclamation marks and shouty capitals I keep using are doing their job!).

In addition to my up-cycled wardrobe, there are seven more fabtabulous pieces being offered by the other amazing designers involved so be sure to click here and check them all out!

C’mon peeps! Let’s make this thing awesome!

PS Thank you all so much for the beautiful response I have so far received for my piece. I stepped outside my comfort zone with this project and was feeling a little nervous about the whole thing. Your gracious support has been incredibly uplifting and is deeply appreciated.

PPS Oh, and please share this around with your family, friends and even colleagues (you know how much everyone loves irrelevant group office emails)! If perhaps it’s not the item for you, I’m sure you must know someone who would love to have this special piece grace their home :)

The auction has now ended. Thank you to everyone who bid. We managed to raise a cumulative $10,000 for the Salvos!

  1. Treagan says:

Ooh, wow, yay!!! Exclamation marks are a must. I’m surprised there aren’t more bids. Don’t feel disheartened. Your piece is the best up-cycle. I’m sure they’ll pick up.
I don’t have a spot for this though will be sure to pass on this post to some of my furniture loving friends :-)

  2. Rosey says:

You are such an inspiration. I am popping over to bid now. I LOVE this piece. So unique.

  3. Angie says:

Is this open for shipping to the United States? I love this piece and your blog!

    • Hi Angie
Thanks. Shipping costs are covered Australia-wide only. International shipping would need to be funded by the purchaser. I don’t know how much it would cost though I’m guessing it wouldn’t be cheap unfortunately.

  4. Pia says:

Congratulations Kristine – I wish I had the funds to put in a substantial bid.
It deserves a premium final amount.
    Best of luck.

    • Thanks Pia. It’s a bit nerve-wracking to be honest. I just hope it fetches a decent amount for the Salvos :)

  5. Tracy says:

Unfortunately I cannot put in a bid, but if I could, I absolutely would. I LOVE this piece!

  6. Eliza says:

Kristine you have done an incredible job on this piece! The colours are just beautiful and the honeycomb pattern fits the obsession with geometric shapes at the moment. The colour on the inside of the doors and the handles are brilliantly complimentary. You have such a talent and I enjoy watching this space for new and exciting projects kind regards eliza

  7. I LOVE what you’ve done with this armoire! Ah-maz-ing:-) Since Im in the US though, I don’t sell enough jewelry to ship it over here! You have such a fresh, artsy style!

    • He, he. I know, I wish international shipping was more affordable! Thanks Christine :)

  8. You are soooo talented. Everything you do blows me away! Another amazing creation!

    • Thanks so much Goldie. That’s so sweet of you to say.
This one was a labour of love though so worth it.
